Missing teeth can be a problem for your dental health and your own personal well being. Dental implants can be used in a variety of situations to help replace missing teeth. Here at Dr Rez Dental in Liverpool, we will be able to help replace your missing teeth to restore your smile and improve your confidence, however your teeth came to be missing. A dental implant can be used to support the most natural looking tooth replacement and can dramatically improve your smile, eating and confidence.
A dental implant replaces the root of a tooth and it can be used to hold the visible part of the tooth, known as the crown.
A single implant is needed to replace a single tooth, but not every missing tooth needs to have an implant beneath it – a bridge can be used, supported by several dental implants, to replace many teeth.
At Dr Rez we offer a full range of dental implant solutions including:
Single tooth dental implant
Multiple teeth dental implants
All of your teeth dental implants
Denture stabilisation with dental implants

A dental implant comes in two parts. The first is the artificial root - a threaded, titanium screw - which has a roughened surface to promote a very strong union between its surface and the bone of the jaw.
It can be placed in either the upper or lower jaw and in time will bond with the jawbone. The second part is what is attached to the dental implant root.
At Dr Rez Dental in Liverpool, we use a range of implant systems, each with a proven track record in the implantology field.

Over time, it’s not uncommon to lose many or all of our teeth. This can hurt our self-confidence, while also causing problems with biting, chewing and even speaking.
Here at Dr Rez Dental we use the latest technology combined with experienced clinical skills to provide a replacement for a full mouth of missing teeth using the innovative All-on-4 dental implant technique.
This procedure replaces an entire row of teeth along the top or bottom jaw. Rather than replacing each tooth individually, the dentist will place 4 (or 6) implant posts into the jaw which will then act as anchors for a brand new set of teeth. A dental crown or false tooth is then attached on top of the implant to provide a natural-looking tooth replacement.
I recently visited this dental practice for the first time and was attended by Adam. I have always been scared of going to the dentist, but Adam made the process very smooth and put me at ease throughout. The entire place is meticulously organized and clean, which helped to further ease my nerves. The receptionist was also lovely and welcoming, making for an all-around great experience. I highly recommend this dental practice to anyone in need of a caring and professional dentist!

We are honoured to have gained six recognitions- including both Winner and Highly Commended - at the Private Dentistry Awards and The Dentistry Awards 2024.
Each award reflects the passion and commitment we pour into making a difference for our patients every day. We couldn't be prouder of what we've achieved together and look forward to continuing to set new standards in modern dentistry.
We are one of the few UK dentists to use a CBCT scanner. That’s cutting-edge digital technology that makes your dental implant treatment faster and safer while ensuring a high level of accuracy.
Cone Beam CT scanning, or CBCT, is completely non-invasive, super-fast dental imaging technology that helps your dentist accurately plan your treatment. Giving a more detailed impression of your mouth than a normal X-ray, this specialist 3D scanner allows for a complete evaluation of your teeth, bone, and soft tissue. This makes it particularly helpful for planning detailed dental procedures, including implants, root canals and extractions.
There isn’t a standard answer to how much implants will cost because the work required is tailored to your needs. Prices for dental implants at Dr Rez Dental start from £3,000 and vary depending on how many implants you need and whether you need any treatment prior to placement (such as a bone graft). We understand that the price of dental implants can be daunting and we are pleased to offer a range of finance options to help with the cost.
The price will vary according to complexity, but the average cost starts from £12,000 per arch. We have a number of finance options available which range from six months to five years. You can select your deposit amount and term of agreement to budget appropriately for your new smile.
For most dental implant-supported teeth you will be able to clean around each supporting implant by brushing and flossing in just the same way that you would around your own teeth. In some areas we recommend flossing, interdental toothbrushes and other cleaning aids to maintain excellent oral hygiene.
For the first few months after the dental implants are placed, your dentist may ask to see you more frequently. However, once they are satisfied your treatment is performing as planned, ongoing care will be similar to patients with natural teeth.
This can vary quite a bit from patient to patient, as some will require treatment to prepare the area for implant placement. A really good starting point is four months from start to finish, but this can vary according to the complexity of the case. During your first appointment, we’ll make a tailored treatment plan to ensure we give you a long-lasting teeth replacement to suit your budget.

The most important visit is the initial consultation. This is when Dr Rez will go through a series of questions regarding your previous dental and medical histories. This will help to determine if dental implants are the best option for you.
If you are in good general health, dental implants are likely to be a suitable option for the replacement of your missing teeth. However, habits such as heavy drinking and smoking can compromise the initial healing time and have a detrimental effect on the long-term health of gum and bone surrounding each implant.
Good oral hygiene is important to help maintain the longevity of your dental implants. Brush and floss your teeth regularly, and visit us in practice in Liverpool for regular dental check-ups and hygienist treatments.
If cared for correctly, All-on-4 implants are expected to last 20 years or longer. After placement, you will need to come into our Liverpool practice at least every six months for check-ups, hygiene appointments and maintenance.
